CHALLENGE

A particular chemical component needed to be stirred to a specific viscosity in a reactor. In order to take viscosity measurements, the reactor had to be stopped, and a manual process ensued to lift a sample for quality testing.

SOLUTION

Based on the vibration analytics that correlated with optimal viscosity, our platform was able to alert in real time precisely when the internal mixture reached the optimal viscosity. This resulted in reduced steps for measurements, increased worker safety and reduced chemical loss.
